End of July altar reset

Altar reset for the week. I finally moved on from a pink/white flower mix because I wanted a fiery feel for some upcoming work.

I’ve been using more herbs and branches in my altar bouquets and loving how they look once they flower (recently it’s been dill and cilantro). Now that I have a good harvest, I’m excited for the basil to bloom (even prettier). I also started including magnolia branches which I wish I’d done sooner.

Over the next few days I’m continuing the Mary Magdalene work I started earlier this month (I’m waiting for a scrap of free time that I can devote to working with ash) and spending time with my bedroom altar. I’m also putting the finishing touches on a new balm and hopefully spending some solid time painting.

My outside goal is to stock up on river water.

Things are feeling slightly more hopeful this week.🕯️
